1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Contact and inquiry details — name, email address, phone number, and state of residence when you complete our contact form, qualification questionnaire, or appointment booking.
• Calculator results requests — when you ask us to email your results from one of our financial calculators, we collect your email address, your first name (optional), the figures you entered, the results produced, which calculator you used, and whether you opted in to our newsletter, along with the date and the consent wording you agreed to.
• Financial planning context — general information you choose to share, such as your primary financial goals, life stage, household income range, and planning timeline. Our questionnaire asks for ranges, not exact figures, and we do not request Social Security numbers, account numbers, or passwords through this Site.
• Communications — the content of emails, messages, or forms you send us.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, links clicked, time on page, referring website, and general interaction with our tools and calculators.
• Device data — browser type, operating system, device type, and IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies — small files stored on your device that help the Site function and help us understand how visitors use it. See Section 6.

Information from Third-Party Tools

• Scheduling — when you book an appointment, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your name, email, and selected meeting time under its own privacy policy.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics, which collects usage and device data as described in Section 6.
• Security screening — our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser and device signals and your IP address to tell people apart from automated bots.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and schedule and prepare for appointments;
• Email you the calculator results you request, and follow up once about them;
• Provide, personalize, and improve our services, content, tools, and calculators;
• Send you educational content, newsletters, and updates you have opted in to receive;
• Contact you by email or phone regarding your inquiry, where you have consented;
• Analyze Site performance and improve user experience;
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations;
• Protect against fraud, abuse, spam, and security risks, including through automated screening of form submissions.

Our automated spam checks only flag submissions for our review. We do not use them to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

3. Communications and Consent

If you provide your phone number and consent to be contacted, we may contact you by phone, email, or text message regarding your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, and you may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications necessary to service an existing relationship.

When you request calculator results by email, we send those results and may follow up once about them. You receive our newsletter only if you check the opt-in box, and every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

4. How We Share Information

We may share your information with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, only as needed to perform those functions. These include Calendly (scheduling), Hostinger (website hosting), Microsoft 365 (business email), Brevo (website email delivery), MailerLite (newsletter delivery to subscribers who opt in), Google (Google Analytics for Site analytics and Google Sheets for our internal inquiry records), and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on our contact form). Some providers may process information outside Texas or the United States;
• Financial product carriers and partners, only when you engage us for services and sharing is necessary to implement your plan, and only with your knowledge;
• Professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants, where reasonably necessary;
• Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

We do not share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site contains links to third-party websites and embedded third-party tools (including Calendly scheduling, social media platforms, and financial calculators). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Site, remember preferences, and measure Site traffic. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site and our calculators, including which calculators are used and whether results are requested by email. Google Analytics uses cookies (names beginning with “_ga”) and collects usage and device data, including approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or the figures you enter into our calculators to Google. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization.

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help block automated spam. It processes browser and device signals and your IP address for that purpose only.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. You can learn how Google uses this data in Google’s privacy policy. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or account credentials through this Site.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to service our relationship with you, and to comply with legal, regulatory, and record-keeping requirements applicable to financial services professionals, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep your email address on a suppression list solely to honor your request.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

• Access — request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and receive a copy of it;
• Correction — request that inaccurate personal information be corrected;
• Deletion — request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Opt out — opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information (we do neither);
• Portability — receive your information in a portable format.

Texas residents: Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may exercise the rights above. To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 13. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal as required by law.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. We will honor valid requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our calculator pages do not load Google Analytics. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, no further opt-out is needed, but you may still exercise any of the rights in Section 9.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
